The Morningside - The Trees Part Two

The forest-castle. The wind-felled trees
Are warders at the gates
I went too far, enjoying the bliss
Don't call me
It's too late

I went alone, I couldn't remain
A thousand years ago
I tried to run away from the rain
To wait until the snow

And dawn, and dusk are felt like a rhyme
Oblivion goes instead
Well it's so great to spend time
In the twilight, going mad

Soggy soil
My feet turn to moss
Even though
I try to go at pace
Damp wind blows
Around my glowing face

The clouds are crying with no sound
Just tears. Drop by drop
The leaves like souls are falling down
The rain will never stop

Soggy soil
My roots turn to moss
Even though
I keep on taking drugs
Damp wind blows
Around my wrinkled bark
